Oracle Cloud Use Case

Oracle Cloud has been helping organizations worldwide maximize productivity, increase efficiency, and drive revenue with their cloud solutions.

For example, one of their clients is the North American hospitality company Spruce Peak.

They adopted Oracle MICROS Simphony POS and used the Oracle Marketplace app when their lodge was losing revenue due to a lack of visitors.

With Oracle Cloud, they were able to more than double orders from 40 to 80 and 100 orders a night and recover from three months of little-to-no activity.

Oracle Cloud User Reviews

Oracle Cloud continues to be one of the highest-rated global cloud providers by users at third-party review sites.

Gartner Peer Insights: 8.5 out of 10

TrustRadius: 4.3 out of 5

Overall, users praise Oracle’s user-friendly and intuitive user interface (UI) and the countless integration options available to them. A few share downsides such as cost and the less-than-ideal representation and services in some regions of the globe.

Industry Recognition

In the 2020 “Industry CloudPath” report, Oracle Cloud’s infrastructure as a service, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, received the highest user satisfaction score.

The report also says 86% of the 935 survey participants said that they’re likely to increase their Oracle Cloud Infrastructure spending in the future.

Oracle Cloud in the Market

Oracle Cloud holds around 2% of the cloud market, as they mainly serve a niche audience when compared to more mainstream competitors, such as AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.

With over 60 highly rated cloud offerings, Oracle is dedicated to the cloud market, which is estimated to reach $150 billion in 2021.
